Asseco Gdynia men’s basketball players are already after the inauguration of the 2014/2015 league season. Asseco lost (70:86) its away match against AZS Koszalin, the club with the very strong roster, and then defeated unexpectedly Anwil Wloclawek 67:58. Now it’s the time for Gdynia club first home game.
On Saturday, 18 October, David Dedek’s players will compete against Tauron Basket League newcomers, King Wilki Morskie Szczecin. Among its team members this season you can find Darrel Harris, the center well-known on Polish courts, and also experienced players Pawel Kikowski and Marcin Sroka, but it is the Asseco team that is the favourite of Gdynia-Szczecin confrontation.
